duty to take the initiative/instigate Explanation: It is the supplier's duty to take the initiative -- maybe instigate? -- whatever it is all about. More context would help, but I can imagine it may be a duty to suggest or instigate developments, or draw attention to new product developments that may suit the customer... Or possibly to inform the customer of new legislation etc. that means adapting the product or service and instigate measures to comply with it. |
