interact with Explanation: interact with There is often an element of competition, but I think in this case it is just as much a situation of different parties playing different roles, so the successsful tenderer will be interacting with other parties in the organisation. The expression is can be used of flavours in a meal - the wine and the meat course, for instance. In an organisation there maybe a sense of sounding out ideas and refining projects after discussions with colleagues and other departments. Sparring is not so independent, and if this organisation for instance is a broadcasting company, then the programmes have to contribute to the general balance, but may or may not be selected for showing. |
