Danish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Automotive / Cars & Trucks
Danish term or phrase: lagerkreditaftale
This involves financing of automobile inventory held for sale by a dealer. The financing is provided by a subsidiary of the vehicle manufacturer.

This is plainly what we in the U.S. call a "floor plan financing agreement". I have two questions:

1. Is "floor plan financing agreement" the appropriate term as well for the UK? Some preliminary research indicates it might be.

2. What the heck does the rest of Denmark call this? The term is "unique".

Asker: Yes, I have that as a fallback already. I'm interested in the UK English term specific to financing of car dealer inventory, if possible.
