Czech term or phrase: Snatku asistoval P. Miroslav Rajmon

Can anyone tell me please, in a "potvrzeni o snatku" at a Roman Catholic church, it says "Snatku asistoval P. Miroslav Rajmon". I assume that it means he is some sort of "Pastor" (although that's for Protestant churches isn't it...?), or that the P. (upper case) is some sort of abbreviation for a priest that I cannot work out early in the morning. But I am just concerned that it means he was there as a witness rather than a priest and he is just "pan M. Rajmon". Help please!
