кампания реактора is NOT “reactor lifetime”, neither in Russian. I am sure. I can Russian as well and was for 40+ years just in this nuclear business.

By the way the first Russian entry is also wrong, кампания реактора it is definitely NOT the "reactor period".

No, Ivan, I'm probably right. Multiple Russian dictionaries say it is reactor lifetime, I'm saying I think that's wrong. :-)

You are wrong, кампания реактора is NOT “reactor lifetime” neither in Russian. Otherwise, you are right.
Reactor campaign is the period between two subsequent refuellings of the reactor. It is characterized by fuel burnup and defined by its permitted value in MW.d/kgU.

Also, it is called reactor cycle (not fuel cycle).

I think it’s from Russian (it’s prevalent in the Slavonic world, but not elsewhere). Russian dictionaries translate кампания реактора as “reactor lifetime” (I don’t think it’s this – the reactor lifetime can be 60 years, whereas a reaktorová kampaň is apparently up to 36 months), and some Russian translators have translated it lazily as “reactor campaign”. I reckon that investigating “life(time)” or “cycle” in conjunction with “core” or “burn-up” might yield some results.
