Explanation:
Osobno sam koristio (za sebe) B.Sc. in Economics. Wikipedia kaže ovako nešto:
The Bachelor of Economics (BEc, BEconSc; sometimes BA(Econ) or BSc(Econ)) degree is similarly a specialized degree in the field of economics. Courses may last anywhere from three years to six years and are typically more theoretical and mathematical than the BBA or BComm with a major in economics (often substantially so). Economics is not a business discipline, as such, but a social science, and economics degrees are therefore often offered through liberal arts colleges.

neutral  Lirka: a business graduate could also have an MBA which is not equivalent. Too vague.

-> There is a difference in curricula? I know that there's some controversy about it. When the curricula is more inclined to teaching of empirical methods (which is my case), then we use BS. BA may be used for marketing majors or similar, but its up to them.

B.A. in economics

Explanation:
Usually, it's a BA ( Bachelor of Arts) in economics. Selected universities/colleges would also award a BS in economics though this is very rate ( and has not practical consequence).

Btw, I myself obtained a B.A. in economics!

neutral  Davor Ivic: dependind on the part of the world, as you said not equivalent, eqiuivalency is often hard to achieve in translation, world might be globalized, but it is still far away from standardizedt

-> very profound, yet 'business graduate' is still too vague in any part of the world :)

agree  Miomira Brankovic: I myself have always used B.A. (Econ) when referring to my degree.

-> Thanks, Miomira, for confirming. I actually have a BA degree in economics from an US university, but our colleagues still don't believe me :)

agree  dkalinic: lirka, I believe you have a BA degree. It's not an unusual title achieved in the US universities. And yet, I bet the vast majority of our colleagues won't believe it still.
