Catalan term or phrase: Endrecem (el territori)
Hi, we're translating an environmental guide and this term is causing us severe problems.
It's the title for an environmental activity in which the participants have to learn about evaluating environmental impact, understand the natural environment and socioeconomic impact of an area, interpret maps, observe and evaluate the environment, and then be able to participate in the decision making process related to the area for the ajuntament, etc.

Also having problems with "territori" in this context - land/terrain/area... meaning the physical area where the activities are carried out.

Thanks for your help!
Chris.

Reference: Territori = Country

Reference information:
A couple of examples of "territori" used as a synonym of "País"

Catalunya, territori lliure de tortura animal
Catalunya, territori lliure de tortura animal. El Parlament de Catalunya ha aprovat, per majoria absoluta, la Iniciativa Legislativa Popular (ILP) ...

The meaning here is evidently not "land" "terrain" "area".
