Catalan term or phrase: opinàtica

All I can think of is 'opinion-based decision-making, but there may well be a direct translation for this term. I just can't find it! It can't be 'projection bias' because I already have that in my text'. Maybe it could be 'subjective validation'?

Many thanks in advance for any ideas.

"opinionism"

Explanation:
It sounds like something recently coined. Perhaps you could use "opinionism" (in quotation marks) to capture the idea (which is defined in the text anyway).

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your answer, Ross. It certainly sounds possible. BTW, the text above is only an example - the text I'm translating does not explain the term (although it has the same meaning). Thanks again.
