Specific passage:

Thanks. And to avoid any aspersions on Kale75's reputation, I should point out that I mispelled the original word.

I have just read the article...She cant marry her Uncle's son...

Yes, amidzici...The woman says that her uncle's children can not marry her children because it is contrary to religious beliefs. While the other one believes that there is nothing wrong...

I thought your target word was..amidzinica...(aunt)...now I see you meant...amidzici...(uncle/aunt's children (nephew/niece))
hope this helped...

Asker: It occurred to me that this particular blog seems to be missing diacriticals. Should it be amidžići?

first cousins

Explanation:
I definetely can't not to make a difference between my first and fourth cousin, and so does the majority of other Bosnians.

amidza = uncle
amidzinica = aunt
amidzici = the child (children) of aunt(s)/uncle(s) = first cousins

There is an inetersting Bosnian drama on the subject. Title in Bosnian is "Kod amidze Idriza". English translation is "At uncle Idriz's".

good luck
