Albanian term or phrase: fakti i paligjshem
It's in the context of a medical negligence case. The commission of the offence is sometimes referred to as "fakti i paligjshem", for example "qe kur fakti i paligjshem eshte vertetuar". I have translated it as "the fact of unlawfulness" but I'm not happy with it. Any better suggestions?

unlawful act
Explanation:
The term is borrowed from Italian: fatto illecito. Since Italian translations themselves seem to allow several takes on the term, I expect Albanians won't agree on a set one either.

Here is just one example from the italian <> English link provided below:
" Soltanto un fatto illecito, imputabile al comportamento della capogruppo, potrebbe quindi consentire di accedere al suo patrimonio."
"Only an unlawful act which can be imputed to the conduct of the parent could open access to its assets. "

" Sipas Kodit Civil Italian, në vend të dëmit, përdoret shprehja fakt i paligjshëm, me të cilën kuptohet ”çdo fakt që me dashje apo nga pakujdesia, u shkakton të tjerëve një dëm të padrejtë”
