Dear all,

I'm a Spanish national living in the UK and I know how the system works in both countries but I was wondering how do you become a sworn or certified translator in Italy and France?

Do you need specific qualifications or an exam (like in Spain)? Do you have to be officially authorised by the government?

Any information would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Trini

There no specific examination, you need to document your skills and experience.
There will be an investigation regarding social behaviour, former criminal convictions etc. If everything goes fine and they don't have already too much translators in your langage combination you will be
