I am doing my workplacement at a translation agency.
One of my collagues took my ID card copy. He did not ask me whether he could take it or not. As it was in a document that contained a legalized copy of it and it was in another collague's hand, he got it straight away.
I do not know if it's okay or not to take someone' s ID without asking.
I have already read here in one of the forums that taking a translator's or a translation student's ID card by an agency is not usual.
