Hello,

There comes a time in life when translator begins to realize that using online dictionaries and glossaries, encyclopedias, personal and even online translation memories (like Reverso Context, Lingvolive.com, Linguee, etc.) and other resources is sometimes not enough to deliver high-quality translations. There comes a time in life when translator begins to realize that using online dictionaries and glossaries, encyclopedias, personal and even online translation memories (like Reverso Context, Lingvolive.com, Linguee, etc.) and other resources is sometimes not enough to deliver high-quality translations. When it happens, database of multilingual websites (in the format of GlossPost) would be of great help.

What I’m suggesting:
- add a new section called “Multilingual Websites” or “MultiWebPost” (as with GlossPost)
- the webpage where one can add a multilingual website should have the same fields as in case with GlossPost,
- translators should be able to rate the translation quality of any website on a scale of 1-5 or 1-10,
- if a website owner agrees, allow anyone who wishes to add the “aligned” version (sentence-segmented text corpus) of the website to the webpage on proz.com describing the website.

You may say that such IT-companies like Google, Microsoft or Yandex have been looking for multilingual websites with web crawlers, copying texts from them and using it to train their computer translators long ago, and you’d be right. However, translators often need a particular specialized corpus, but not the mix of them, to leverage their translations.

The efforts spent to build such a corpus for a specific project will pay off very much. The text corpus built (for example, with free LF Aligner - https://sourceforge.net/projects/aligner/) can be converted to ".tmx" and used in offline or online translation memory software.

In addition to multilingual websites, it would be great to add websites where you can find translations of articles or files only:
