Hi,
you'd have to look up these words separately. Go to
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/apnea
and click on "Show IPA pronunciation". Do the same for the word "sleep".

Apnea (Apnoea) in Polish is maybe "bezdech" Jan 14, 2007

Why translate when there's a word for it in your language. I always try my best to avoid transliterating when I can. I assume that you are trying to translate an English (probably medical) text to Polish. Searching in my reference desk for resources, I found the following site translating "apnea" to "bezdech" in Polish. When done from Polish to English, it gave back the same original. I assume that you are trying to translate an English (probably medical) text to Polish. Searching in my reference desk for resources, I found the following site translating "apnea" to "bezdech" in Polish. When done from Polish to English, it gave back the same original. Hence I assume it's the word you seek in Polish without transliterating. Try it on:

Your question drew my attention when I saw the word "apnea". I had translated a brochure on "Sleep Apnoea" (the UK spelling) some 6 years ago and wondered what the question was about, hence clicking on it.

You'll find other PolishEnglish dictionaries on http://portreference.com/03030.htm . It's my recently (May, 2006) launched website for translator resources or a general Reference Desk for translators and general users. There's a lot more to be added, but since launched it's quite comprehensive.

A bit more on Sleep Apnea: Jan 14, 2007

"Sleep Apnea" in Polish is "Bezdech Senny". It's from http://www.bioling.com/en/slownik.php?l=B&n=20
I hope it's the Polish equivalent that you are looking for.
That came up from searching for "bezdech apnea polish medical" on the Yahoo search.
I've just added the latter link to my web site.
