How to abbreviate a Spanish/French/Belgian/English Name to Initials?

Hello,
I need to abbreviate some Names to Initials, which are to be printed on a gift to personalize it (i.e. John Fitzgerald Kennedy becomes JFK etc.). I have problems with the following names. It would be great, if you could advise how to abbreviate these names correctly considering the rules in the respective countries.

which includes a reference to a batsman named J McI Glass. But in this case McI stands for his middle name. There are others on Google listed in the same way.

In Spanish we normally use the initial of the name and both surnames.

For you exemple it would be: Borja Gil de Sola = BGS
