SDL Trados Studio 2009 has been designed to satisfy the needs of all translation professionals - translators, project managers, reviewers or terminologists - from within one integrated environment. Its innovative new features, cutting edge API and open standards-based platform, as well as the ability to scale from the single desktop to the large enterprise, ensures everyone in the translation supply chain will benefit from this innovative release.

  • Revolutionary AutoSuggest™ feature: makes suggestions in a predictive text style, of words and phrases that have been translated before. This sophisticated technology uses intelligent sub-segment matching to maximize reuse and save time
  • RevleX™ translation memory engine: a ground-breaking TM engine which delivers a host of new time-saving features such as Context Match, improved concordance searching and multiple TM look-up amongst many others
  • QuickPlace™ for maximized efficiency: allows quick application of text formatting, tags, placeables and variable elements such as times, dates etc.
  • New support for PDF file translation: after listening to customer feedback, a new filter is included to accept PDF documents when the original source files are not available
  • Real-time QA and spell checks: allows instant correction of mistakes
