4. Qué altura tiene el anillo? Daña el endotelio corneal?
La altura máxima es de 0.68 mm. Para una cámara estándar de 3 mm, que aumenta a más de 5 mm con fluido viscoelástico no hay contacto con el endotelio corneal en absoluto. De hecho es posible utilizarlo en cámaras planas de hasta 2 mm.
5. El Anillo daña el canal incisional?
No daña la incisión corneal en absoluto. La punta del inyector es un rectángulo de 2 x 1 mm, dimensiones que le permiten entrar y salir por el túnel corneal de 2.8 y 2.2 con toda seguridad. Theoretically, the ring is able to go through a 0.82 mm diameter section without deformities as it recovers its circularity. El Ecoclub Compromiso Organización y Accion, de Cochabamba, surgió por iniciativa de un grupo de jóvenes, que liderados por Luis Canedo Estrada, decidieron autoconvocarse y relanzar Ecoclubes en Bolivia, luego de la desarticulación en octubre de los últimos grupos existentes en la ciudad.
Los integrantes del novel Ecoclub, casi todos universitarios, decidieron capacitarse para asumir el rol de facilitadores de otros Ecoclubes en la ciudad, y para cumplir con su objetivo se organizaron en tres equipos:

When the Exxon Valdez ran aground fifteen years ago in Alaska’s Prince William Sound, the resulting spill of at least 11 million gallons of oil awakened the nation to the dangers of extracting and transporting oil in wild places. The damage, which continues to this day, reminds us that as we continue the quest for energy, we must do so in a way that protects our nation’s wildlife and wilderness areas, including the Artic National Refuge.
• The oil tanker Exxon Valdez ran aground around the Bligh Reef at 12.04 am March 24, 1989, spilling at least 11 million gallons of crude oil in Prince William Sound; many analysts now believe that Exxon significantly underreported the actual volume of the spill.
• The spill killed between 1,000 and 2,800 sea otters, at least 300 harbor seals, 22 orcas, and as many as a quarter of a million sea birds. The Exxon Valdez spill, combined with the 427 oil spills that Alaska still suffers annually, show that there are significant risks to oil exploration.
• The Exxon Valdez spill contaminated 1,500 miles of shoreline, approximately the same length as California’s coast.
• Researchers published findings in the December, 2003 Science magazine that documented significant amounts of trapped, highly toxic oil still polluting Prince William Sound.

The ever-growing friendship between Borges and Bioy led them to embark on their first collaboration: a booklet advertising the junket from La Martona, a chain of dairies, which belonged to the family, named after Marta Casares, Adolfito’s mother. “The booklet was twenty pages long and its appearance was somewhat scientific; as a matter of fact, we tried to make it as scientific as possible,” Bioy recalls. “It was nicely illustrated and the pay was magnificient; sixteen pesos each page, a handsome sum of money in those days. The Proposed Action would consist of:
• One deepwater port consisting of two single-point mooring buoys approximately 12,000 feet apart, located approximately 27 miles southwest of the Los Angeles International Airport in Federal waters in approximately 3,000-foot water depth;
• Regulated navigation areas would include an approximately 3,000-foot radius safety and security zone; an approximately 4,000-foot radius no anchoring area and 9,000-foot radius area to be avoided around each single-point mooring;
• Three designated offshore ship-to-ship (STS) transfer areas;
• Two 35-mile long, 24-inch diameter subsea pipelines that would deliver natural gas from the deepwater port to shore-based facilities;
• Two four-mile long, 24-inch diameter onshore natural gas pipelines that would extend from the shore crossing at LAX to the receiving and custody transfer station;
• One receiving and custody transfer station located in the City of Los Angeles to receive and deliver natural gas to the Southern California Gas Company natural gas network; and
• Up to three tie-ins to the Southern California Gas Company network via either 36-inch or 24-inch diameter onshore pipelines from the receiving and custody transfer station to the Southern California Gas Line tie-ins, with up to 12 miles of natural gas pipeline in the cities of Los Angeles, Inglewood and South Gate.
LNG would be delivered from overseas and transferred to specialized Regasification Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers (RLNGCs) at the STS locations, and then the RLNGCs would deliver LNG to the deepwater port. The RLNGCs would be 1,100 feet long and have a maximum cargo storage capacity of 224,000 cubic meters. LNG would then be regasified to natural gas by the RLNGC ambient air vaporization system. The deepwater port and pipelines would initially be designed to handle a daily rate of 0.4 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d) and a peak delivery capacity of 1.1 bcf/d. At full project development, these rates would increase to 1.0 bcf/d and 1.6 bcf/d, respectively. At full capacity, the deepwater port would receive an estimated 125 cargoes per year.

Source text - English The Maritime Administration (MARAD) and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) were jointly delegated by the Secretary of Transportation the responsibility for processing deepwater port applications. The Secretary of Transportation has delegated to the Maritime Administrator the authority and responsibility to approve, deny or approve with conditions deepwater port license applications.
MARAD issues a Record of Decision (ROD) for each deepwater port license application. The ROD is primarily based on the conditions for license issuance set forth in Section 1503 of the Deepwater Port Act of 1974, as amended (33 U.S.C. §§1501 et seq.) by the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) of 2002 (Public Law 107-295).
The decision of MARAD to issue a license, issue a license with conditions, or deny the license will be based on the nine criteria contained in Section 1503 (c) of the Deepwater Port Act summarized below:
1. The applicant must be financially responsible and able to meet the requirements of Section 1016 of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (33 U.S.C. §§2701 et seq.; 104 Stat 484). The applicant must be financially able to construct, own and operate the deepwater port. The applicant also must provide a financial guarantee or bond sufficient to meet cost for removal of components of the deepwater port upon the termination or revocation of the license.
2. It must be determined that the applicant can and will comply with relevant laws, regulations and license conditions. As part of this requirement the applicant must provide, in writing, its intended compliance with related laws, regulations and conditions.
3. The construction and operation of the deepwater port must be in the national interest and consistent with national security and other national policy goals and objectives, including energy sufficiency and environmental quality.
4. The deepwater port should not unreasonably interfere with international navigation or other reasonable uses of the high seas, as defined by treaty, convention or customary international law.

After 17 years of being part of official companies in Argentina, where I was continuously involved with the most prominent professionals in the history of national ballet, I find myself in the search of new languages and movement techniques. A deep desire to be part of creative processes with international choreographers, where the contact with new models and visions may enable innovative ways of knowledge. Also, I am motivated by the idea of constant learning and improvement and the need to experience different areas to grow as an artist and individual, as I move forward in my artistic and professional development.
