Description This workshop is designed for intermediate or advanced SDL Trados Studio 2017 users. Participants will learn all main advanced tricks and features in order to make full use of the software and learn how to deal with most common and uncommon file formats. You will learn how to build your own TMs or import TMs you receive from a PM, both with SDLTM and TMX format. You will also learn how to build and manage a Glossary (Terme Base) with SDL Multiterm 2017. See the program section below for a complete detail of the topics to be covered during the session. Target audience This course is addressed to professional translators who already know the basics of SDL Trados Studio 2015 or SDL Trados Studio 2017 and want to learn all new tricks and tips in order to enhance and increase their own translation daily productivity. Learning objectives Immediately after attending this webinar the learner will be able to create his own project with SDL Trados Studio 2017, both Standard Projects and Single File Projects. He/She will learn how to manage a TMX TM format received from an agency and convert it into an SDLTM format - Any Term List from MS-Excel or MS-Word file can be converted into SDL MultiTerm TermBase and connect it to any projects. The learner will get familiar with the translation of PDF files thanks to this excellent new feature provided by SDL Trados Studio 2017.
