I agree, it seems complicated. However, in many cases like this it's bureacratic "double-speak", they need to know what's going on without telling anyone else the "secret" code. "DI" usually stands for "Document Identifier". "SIT" stands for "Statement of Inventory Transaction" (a fancy way of saying that someone bought or sold the property, it lets the IRS and everyone else have a legal record of the transaction for tax & other purposes). "RIM" has already been explained correctly by my esteemed colleague. This is the system that they use to file and retrieve documents related to property transactions, in this case your documents are identified by N1, N2, N3 etc. HTH.
