This is not my area of expertise, in fact it's a field I generally avoid, so I am happy to bow to the greater expertise of Adrian and Chris. However, the link below shows that there are certainly plenty of sites using the form "preferential rights issue", so it occurs to me that a "rights issue" might possibly just be an abbreviation of "preferential rights issue". What do you think?
