Telephone Tree:
A telephone Tree is a means of quickly and efficiently passing or collecting information via telephone.
The Telephone Tree works as follows, the first person calls 2 people, who in turn each call 2 people, who again in turn call 2 people thus enabling information to be disseminated very quickly.
After an earthquake, the Incident Commander will initiate the “telephone tree” using SMS to check and ensure the safety and location of all personnel.
After a tornado or extreme high winds, the Incident Commander will initiate the “telephone tree” using SMS to check and ensure the safety and location of all personnel.
Dependent upon the extent of the flooding, the Incident Commander may elect to initiate the “telephone tree” using SMS to check and ensure the safety and location of all personnel.
Dependent upon the severity of the blizzard, the Incident Commander may elect to initiate the “telephone tree” using SMS to check and ensure the safety and location of all personnel.
