XXX is a compact and space-saving air/water monoblock-type heat pump which incorporates the entire technology in the external unit.
The heat extracted from the air is transferred to the heating water in the outdoor heat pump.
To that end, the outside air is drawn by a fan and delivered to the evaporator.
In the evaporator, the energy from the air is passed via aluminium fins to the ***pipe matrix*** through which coolant is flowing, thereby causing the coolant to evaporate.
The compressor then raises that source energy to a higher temperature by compressing the coolant vapour.
Finally, the thermal energy from the coolant is passed to the heating water in the condenser.
The fan speed is adjusted according to demand by a separate electronic control module in the heat pump, i.e. a lower fan speed is required at higher outside temperatures, while a higher fan speed is required at lower outside temperatures a higher fan speed.
