Es handelt sich um einen Text über Dachunterspannbahnen. Ich nehme an, die Angabe "10-square roll size" bedeutet, dass aus einer Rolle 10 Quadrate geschnitten werden können, habe jedoch keine Ahnung, wie man das auf Deutsch wiedergibt. Hat jemand Ahnung davon?

Klaus Conrad Jun 26, 2019: Johannes Was war jetzt eigentlich noch mal die ursprüngliche Frage? Wie groß die Fläche der Rolle aus Rolfs Beispiel ist? Oder die deutsche Bezeichnung für "10-square roll size"? Ich habe kein Problem damit, wenn Du die Fläche der Rolle aus Rolfs Beispiel berechnen willst. Aber es wäre nett, wenn Du unter meine Antwort nicht irgendwelche Berechnungsergebnisse schreiben würdest, die mit der eigentlichen Frage im Grunde genommen nichts zu tun haben. Eine "10-sqare roll" entspricht einer Fläche von 1000 square feet und das entspricht 92,9 m² und NICHT 91,7 m².

Ich sehe im AT nur "Its 60” width and 10-square roll size" Und 10 squares sind ja nun mal 1.000 square feet und damit exakt 92,9 m² Aber soweit waren wir ja eigentlich schon vor einer Woche und die ganzen Nachberechnungen und falschen Berechnungen und neuen Nachberechnungen und immer noch falschen Berechnungen hätten wir uns im Grunde genommen sparen können, oder?

Johannes Gleim Jun 26, 2019: @ Rolf Stimmt, habe nur die Einheitenzeichen versehentlich vertauscht Kleine Korrektur: 91,7 ² statt 92,9 m² 60" wide and comes in 200' rolls => 1,52 m x 61,0 m = 91,7 m² Mit 19,5 kg/Rolle ergibt das ein Flächengewicht von 200 g/m² eine neue Brille brauche ich nicht. Und Excel funktioniert auch als Taschenrechner. :-}
Rolf Keller Jun 25, 2019: @Johannes: Flächengewicht stimmt nicht? So so. So? Tut es nicht? Ich habe anhand des AT vorgerechnet, dass die DORTIGEN Rollen 92,9 m² haben. Das ergibt ein Flächengewicht von 210 g/m², passt also durchaus zu dem, was du selbst sagst. Der AT ist somit in sich völlig konsistent. Ich zitiere dich mal: 60‘ (ft.) = 1,65 m breit und 200“ (in.) = 5,08 m Fällt dir da was auf? Nicht nur, dass "ft" falsch umgerechnet ist, du hast außerdem die Kürzel von Fuß und Zoll verwechselt: RoofTopGuard II measures 60" wide and comes in 200' rolls Neuer Taschenrechner plus neue Brille? :-)))
Johannes Gleim Jun 25, 2019: Auch das Flächengewicht passt nicht In Rolfs Beispiel wiegt die 60‘ x 200“-Rolle "43 lbs per roll". Das sind 19,5 kg. Bei 1,65 m x 5,08 m = 8,38 m² (siehe unten) beträgt das Flächengewicht 2,33 kg/m² Übliche Unterspannbahnen haben aber Flächengewichte von nur 110 – 180 g/m² bei Stärken von ca. 0,3 mm.

Die Breite beträgt also 1,52 m, die Länge 61 Meter. Daraus lassen sich keine 10 Quadrate schneiden. Die Fläche ist 92,9 m², das reicht für knapp 10 Rechtecke à 10 m².

Unterspannbahnen kenne ich nur als Rollenware, nicht als Zuschnitte und schon gar nicht als Quadrate. Es könnte um die Streifen für die Überlappungen gehen.
