Dutch term

waarvan acte genomen

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s)
"Ondergetekende, de heer xxxxx, verklaart namens de firma XXXXX akkoord te zijn met de inhoud van het PARTNERSHIP-contract, waarvan acte genomen op datum van vandaag, en waarvan bij de ondertekening van dit contract een exemplaar werd overhandigd."

Who can give me the usual translation of this phrase, which is being used in the conckluding sentence of a co-operation contract.

TIA

A UK version is best.
writeaway Nov 20, 2004:
Assuming you want the NL Dutch version, it's already in the glossary (but the Dutch spelling is akte-acte is French afaik). http://www.proz.com/kudoz/695215?keyword=waarvan akte
writeaway Nov 20, 2004:
do you need UK or USA version?

In the Dutch situation it would go on to say something like drawn up on this the .... day of .... 2004. This sounds like a Flemish document, however, and the word "genomen" needs another translation than 'drawn up'. Perhaps you can best fill that in yourself. Good luck.
Peer comment(s):

agree writeaway : I also strongly assume this is a Flemish document (is a standard phrase) -there is one entry in the NL glossary although I am fairly sure this has been asked several times in the past
