Dutch term

Kaliumwaterstofftalaat

Dutch to English Tech/Engineering Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng Titration
Just a term in a Dutch list.
Kalium = potassium
waterstof = hydogen
talaat ?? = ??

The preceding sentence was:
Door een eenvoudige zuur-base titratie met een gekende NaOH oplossing bepaalt men het gewichtsprocent HNO{148}3 in het HNO3 staal.

WHo tell me what this term is in English.
And what is "talaat"
I can find absolutely nothing!! ;-(

TIA
Proposed translations (English)

Discussion

Please make from these terms new question, or all gets confused. I can answer them.
Non-ProZ.com May 6, 2005:
Next - fuirther on down " KH-ftalaat"
Now it dawns - spelling mistake -> they mean "phtalate".
But the whole term still eludes me.
Non-ProZ.com May 6, 2005:
Another sentence: "We stellen NaOH met de oertiterstof kaliumwaterstofftalaat"

"oertiterstof" = titrimetric standard substance
