Contexte :

Clinical stage I seminomas are treated by radiation therapy, the particular focus on shielding the contralateral testis during treatment. Stage I non-seminomatous GCT’s are thought to be radioresistant and chemotherapy is not necessary in the majority of cases, thus they are treated with retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, because of the predictable lymphatic metastatic spread.
