This is from an information sheet (Merkblatt) describing various types of proxy, including Prokura and different varieties of Handlunsvollmacht. But I'm not sure about this one:
"Darüber hinaus gelten Personen, denen der Kaufmann Aufgaben überträgt bzw. eine Stellung einräumt, deren ordnungsgemäße Erfüllung nach der Verkehrsauffassung gewisse Vollmachten voraussetzt, als bevollmächtigt (sog. „Rechtsscheinhandlungsvollmacht”, etwa bei Abschlussvertretern und Ladenangestellten).
Would "Proxy/authorisation by estoppel" be close?
