This occurs in a text on a clinical trial of different ways of dealing with prostate cancer. Patients suffering from this will not be included in the trial group. the complete sentence is: Comorbilidad severa que contraindique el procedimiento (incluidas hemorroides franca o sintomática).
I have several problems with it, symptomatic hemorroids exist but sintomatica doesn't agree with hemorroides. I can't find any references to 'frank/open/apparent hemorroids at all. Or does it mean 'openly/obviously or symptomatically'? All help greatly appreciated. I don't really want to linger too long on this subject!
